DESCRIPTION AND METHODOLOGIES

Awareness on the migration issue. During the "Diversi’day" of April 26, 2018, all students from the teaching department of Hénallux were able to live a "Diversi'day" as part of their cultural diversity course.

The main objectives were:
- opening up to others and to the world in its complex contemporary realities (migration, north / south inequalities) - - develop a different perspective by thwarting / deconstructing prejudices and stereotypes, cross and enrich points of view by mixing field actors (associations, asylum seekers, teachers, students from different sections).
The morning took place at the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers of Servia, where they were able to attend the challenging show by and with Pie Tshibanda “A Black Madman in the Land of the Whites”. In the afternoon at
Malonne was devoted to various awareness workshops, conducted in intersection and animated by numerous associations:
Mutual aid and fraternity; Quinoa, Caritas, Amnesty International, Children's Words, Announce Color, Youth News, Youth and Citizen and the Red Cross with which the day was co-constructed.

RESULTS AND IMPACT

The impact was positive. The dynamized activities facilitated the inclusion in higher education of students seeking asylum. Due to the success "Diversi'day" took place again in May 9 and 10, 2019.
