DESCRIPTION AND METHODOLOGIES

Refugees may benefit from the Year Plus module, directed at international students. Year Plus is a module, intended for international students during their first year at the University of Ljubljana. Within the framework of the Year Plus module, international students are able to learn Slovene free of charge while also fulfilling course requirements in their own degree programme.

In addition to learning Slovene, the module also offers other types of content: at present, two other (elective) courses are available. These two courses enable the students to become familiar with the Slovene language and culture (the Slovenian language and Slovenian culture course) and with using information technology for study purposes (the Use of IT for study course, offered by the Faculty of Computer and Information Science).

International students, enrolled in a degree programme at the BA or MA level at the University of Ljubljana for the first time, are eligible for the Year Plus module.
