DESCRIPTION AND METHODOLOGIES
IncLUsion is a student initiative that enables refugee students to follow single courses at Leiden University free of charge.
The IncLUsion programme is intended for refugee students who are unable to enrol on a regular study programme. Priority is given to applicants who have not yet been granted a Dutch residence permit. Applicantes must have previously followed university-level education and have a good command of English.
Refugee students can follow up to two undergraduate (English-taught) courses per semester. These are single one-semester courses and not part of a degree programme. Upon successful completion the person will be awarded a certificate.
In addition to attending classes, students have the opportunity to join in social activities with fellow students. There is also a team of buddies on hand to introduce refugees to the academic world of Leiden University.
