BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The Italian Comitee of Unicef is an integral part of the global structure of Unicef - United Nations Children's Fund, the UN subsidary body that has the mandate to protect and promote the children's rights around the world as well as to help to improve their living conditions. Born in 1974, it's one of the 33 national commitees present in the donor countries, which operates on the basis of a cooperation agreement with the Unicef International and according to a joint and continuous planning of its activities, the Joint Strategic Plan, renewed every 3 years. The dual purpose of each national commitee is to raise funds to support the programs that Unicef carries out in developing countries and to inform and sensitize public opinion on children's rights.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

Unicef will disseminate the results of the project through its website, the network of volunteers present throughout the country and the representatives of Italian Universities. Furthermore, since 2016 the program in support of migrants and refugee minors coordinated by a Unit of the Regional office for Europe and Central Asia has been active in the organisation
