DESCRIPTION AND METHODOLOGIES

The aim of this project is to raise awareness on the issue of homeless people, many of whom are refugees, and to give concrete help to homeless people through project activities carried out by students.

Activities
In October 2019, a convention on homeless people was held with local speakers, from Austria and Germany. During this convention students of the Faculty of Design and Arts presented project proposals that they have developed to make life easier for the homeless.it was a project workshop where students designed products for the homeless, some of which will be made by a social cooperative from Trento. The materials that will be used for production are disused materials of the Salewa company, located in Bolzano. This company produces and distributes sporting goods, clothing and equipment. The results of the workshop were shown at the Bolzano furniture fair. During the convention a photographic exhibition was also presented with 20 portraits of the homeless. The photographer is Ludwig Talheimer
