In this sense, it covers all members of the Higher Education community, regardless of gender, nationality, beliefs and age.
It aims at : a) Combating academic failure, promoting academic success in Higher Education; b) Promoting social justice in access to knowledge; c) Fostering bonds of solidarity, responsibility and sharing in Higher Education, especially among peers.
It is directed at students enrolled in Higher Education in Coimbra (University or Polytechnic), in undergraduate studies (1st cycle), with academic, economic and social difficulties, in one of the following situations: a) Scholarship holders of Social Action Services; b) Students accompanied by the Solidarity Fund Project; c) Students with Refugee Status; d) Other students, when proved the inexistence of economic resources to pay for guided study. Guided study offered is free of charge.
