DESCRIPTION AND METHODOLOGIES

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers refugees the following opportunities to find a way to get into a study programme or to see whether a study programme is the right way to move forward.

This offer applies to people,
who had already started studying in their country of origin and had to suspend this,
who have already attained a first academic degree,
who bring along the necessary entry requirements for studying in Germany and could no longer take up studies in the home country because of the flight.

Activities

Consultation Offers and Study Preparation

Language proficiency
To study in German, you must possess language skills at DSH-2 level. To accommodate this, we offer various language courses that prepare you for lessons at our university. If you pass the final examination with at least the result of DSH-2, you can move on to study in the desired degree programme. In addition, courses and tutorials on conversation training, academic work and culture and cultural knowledge about Germany and Europe take place.

Advice and support

Our support and advice encompasses various study-related issues. For questions about study courses offered as well as admission requirements you can turn to us. We will support you in the application process. If required, we can also accompany you to authorities and offices
