DESCRIPTION AND METHODOLOGIES

The programme aims at providing support to refugees regarding the recognition of prior studies and assistance to refugee students. The programme comprises the following activities: a) assessment of diplomas and analysis of their suitability in the national context; b) evaluation of academic records and analysis of the possibilities of recognition; c) support the integration of university students in the institutions of the Lusófona Group; d) support the learning environment for refugee students, seeking to solve problems, bringing together partners and stakeholders; e) when necessary, provide support in the search for institutions and individuals that can contribute to support the costs inherent to the attendance of Higher Education. Students are exempted from paying fees. A dedicated office was created by the Lusófona University to guarantee this support.
