BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

Progetto Aisha was born within the Islamic community of Milan, with the aim of preventing and combating social exclusion, discriminations and gender based violence in all its forms, as well as promoting children’s protection, reducing their exposure to risks that could compromise their phycological and physical wellness.
This is a unique project in Italy and it is pioneer in Europe.
The vision: a society in which women and men could share rights and duties, enjoy equal opportunities andlive of mutual help and collaboration.
The mission: Progetto Aisha aims at giving value to women, promoting their freedom of choice and their social and economic independence. We work together in order to promote the instruments that could ensure protection of gender differences.
