Description of Dissemination Event:

The aim of the Informative Session was to inform the beneficiaries of InterVolve -Irida Women’s Center about the TOGETHER project and the first deliverable, the Refugees Welcome Map.
Irida Women's Center exists from 2018 for women of all nationalities and backgrounds; it offers safety and comfort, while also providing its members with direct resources to help heal trauma, as the large majority of our beneficiaries are refugee, migrant and asylum-seeking women and their children. Irida Women's Center is an Associated partner of the Together project.

Outcomes and Results:

Five (5) women - beneficiaries of InterVolve -Irida Women’s Center was informed about the Together project during the informative session. They were very interested to be informed about study opportunities across Europe. One of them wanted to continue her studies in Greece and shared the barriers she faced during the process. She has been informed about the opportunities for refugees offered by Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki. Other women expressed her interest to start studying at a university in Europe and asked questions that are concerned her friends and family, who wish to study in Greece.
The informative material (ppt presentation and links to the Together website) has been forwarded to all the beneficiaries of InterVolve -Irida Women’s Center; participants of the informative session and women who were unable to attend the session, but are interested to know about study opportunities across Europe.
